Rhys is a photographer of Nahua descent who enjoys taking pictures that give glimpses into the secrets of nature. Each photo is a search for the delicacy and mystery of the natural world around the area, and Rhys seeks to represent them in ethereal ways. Rhys is a computer programmer by day, a photographer in the off duty hours, seeking always to capture beauty for people to enjoy. Shooting macro most of the time, Rhys also enjoys using a variety of angles to best show the joyousness of the Upper Peninsula.
Dave is an adventurer at hear with an eye for landscapes, black and white photography, and long exposures showing still life in movement. The images he takes are meant to evoke wonder in the natural world, preservation of vintage scenes, and contrast timeless flow with vital detail. Dave has circumnavigated most of the Les Cheneaux Islands on his sea kayak. He is an ultra distance trail runner, nearing completion of the Upper Peninsula portion of the North Country Trail on foot. He shoots with a digital medium format camera and a 5x4 view camera.
